Practitioners · AI Tool Testers · Non-Technical Professional Guides
AIKit is written by a team of practitioners — marketing managers, HR professionals, executive assistants, and business consultants — who started using AI tools in our own daily work in 2024 and documented what actually produced results for non-technical professionals.
We are not software engineers or data scientists. We are the people AI is supposed to help — and we tested it properly to find out if it does.
How We Test
Every prompt in the AI Survival Kit has been tested in live professional contexts, not in a lab. Our testing process:
- Task-first: We start with a real professional task (writing a job description, building a campaign brief, screening CVs) and test which AI tool, model, and prompt structure produces the best output — not which tool has the best marketing.
- Multiple iterations: Each prompt template in the Kit has been run at least 20 times across different contexts to verify consistency. We only include prompts that work reliably on the first try, without technical setup.
- Non-technical validation: Every guide goes through review by someone who has never used the tool before. If they can't get results on their first session, the guide is rewritten.
- Quarterly refresh: AI tools change pricing, models, and capabilities. We update every guide quarterly to reflect the current state of each tool — not how it worked six months ago.
What We Don't Do
- No sponsored tool recommendations. We have no commercial relationship with OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, or Notion. Tool recommendations are based solely on testing outcomes.
- No fabricated statistics. Every figure cited on this site has a named source linked inline. If you can't find the source, tell us — we'll either add it or remove the statistic.
- No theoretical AI education. We don't teach how neural networks work or explain transformer architecture. We teach exactly which button to press and what to type to get a useful result for your specific job.
